I do believe people have a sixth sense. My Mother had it and my daughter has it. It seemed to have skipped me. My daughter used to train herself by meditating to open up her mind to just see or hear things that she says are just out of our normal perception. Some people can just use it like they use their eyes to see and ears to hear. As just another sense. My daughter has always had some ability to see auras. She also has this thing when she says " oh I have been thinking of this old movie" Well a week or two it plays at tandem.
Hi. I'm Jen. As for learning how to do what your friend does? Besides finding a yoga coach or someone to teach you how to meditate I am not sure how you can otherwise learn. It's like my mother typed. If you have had this sense all your life it's just there. And it grows stronger like any muscle being used. There are some books about strengthening your "inner eye" or sixth sense but I have no clue how they work. I also have a friend who used to blow me away. Her abilities where amazing but all I can say is to center yourself and meditate. Some books also teach you how to meditate. OH! The "for idiots books" Makes one for psychics. Maybe that might help? Try it. I have one of their books for tarot and I love it. MMMPMM
Hope this helps.

Yes, most people do have a sixth sense although many walk through life without experiencing any activity. Heres an example: whenever you've felt bad vibes when coming in close proximity to anyone whether it be a friend or stranger and you say to yourself "damn! I've got a bad feeling about you". Pay attention to this sense. I can't go into depth, because I'm not certified in any field of medicine or the paranormal, but on many occasions I've felt things around people and I've never been wrong

I'm that way too - I'll be thinking about someone or something out of the blue and then I'll run into them, or hear some news about them, or I get an email from them or hear about the subject that's on my mind. It was pretty strong in my late teens, I "felt" the passing of 3 relatives anywhere from 4 days to 16 hours prior to death and none of them were ill. One time I was in a casino and saw the number 20 on the roulette table look like it was 3 dimensional - I bet 5 bucks straight up on 20 and it hit - that was a bonus!
I think it's a sense we have not needed to rely to on survive therefore it's not highly developed in most people.

Malcom Gladwell wrote a book titled Blink that has a more scientific take on this sort of thing. I really don't believe in the "magic" that some people seem to think is at work in what they think is psychic phenomenon. What I really think is going on (Gladwell goes into this in his book) is that parts of our regular old non-magic brain are noticing things that we aren't aware of.
One great example in the book is how a crew of firefighters walks into a house where a fire has been reported. They smell smoke and can see a few small flames in a room down a hall, but something isn't right. The chief firefighter gets a horrible feeling and evacuates his men. Seconds later, the floor of the room they had been standing in collapses. It turns out the fire was in the basement.
They explain the chief's bad feeling, not as supernatural, but as being the result of 20 years of experience on the job.
The book goes into alot of the brain science behind the scenes. It's not to technical, though.

I believe that some people are more attuned to the environment than others, in the sense that their subconscious is working overtime picking up little clues to things that are going on around them and relating it to the memory portion of the brain in various ways.
It may be somthing as simple as: your friend smelled the scent of the person they didn't see for a while approaching, and since they can't consciously think "I know that smell, it's Mr Bill," their brain alerts them to the imminent presence of that person in another way...a feeling they just can't put their finger on, so they chalk it up to the sixth sense. It could be that simple or a lot more complex.

We have many senses. For example, the sense of time, measurement, etc. Some people have stronger senses than others. Those who have poor vision were glasses which helps them with their sense of sight. We don't have any tools to help us with those other natural senses. I believe we all have this ability, but we don't put it to use. Maybe, it wasn't as important as the other senses and so, it didn't evolve. Also, technology stands as a barrier to our natural senses.

Very glad you asked this question. YES we all do have a sixth sense, the only problem is that we have all or at least most of us forgotten how to use and activate it! Our pitiuary gland in between our two eyes withing the brain used to be much bigger and our instincts were also very sharp, like the animals. Through millenia we have become so civilized and so comfortable that we do not really need that sixth sense and as a relsult that gland is about the size of a mini pea! If you really try and listen to yourself through breathing and meditation, you can bring it back, but it takes work and I want to wish you the best of luck sweetheart!

your friend may be able to do this sure. it is important to understand that The bible tells us that Satan will use all manner to tricks to mess us up. i am not saying that Satan is behind this but he could be.
i do think that we have a sixth sense for sure . some of what we might call a sixth sense is might be a combination of awareness of each of the other senses that come to together to form what we call this other sense . that is to say smell not enough to make us aware of the smell on its own but in combination with hearing and sight and pressure and other factors are brains can put together a conclusion that is right about something that may be about to happen . this i think is something that we all have in us but modern life noise and such racing around we just don't take time to allow the mind to alert us of the fine ability of the mind to gather information. again i refer to dogs . the tidal waves this last year. animials did leave ahead of the people that is a fact not
debateable pure fact . why i think because they dont bother with much of the clutter we do instead they pay attention to the earth and the other animails and smells and all sorts of things we could sense or do sense but pay no attention to .
i think that the answer to this is most likely to have us all calm down slow down and relax both the mind and body then we will become more aware of what is going on that matters things called life and earth nature all of this is there but really think of it the saying take time to smell the roses . who does that not many
dogs do cats do all animails are stopping to smell the roses and so they also end up seeing things we just dont bother with .

You can improve your eyesight by simply learning, naturally and practicing the correct way to see for a few small minutes a day.
You can check this method based on a scientific researches :
http://improvevision.toptips.org
if glasses are worn continuously over time the poor vision will generally become worse. Essentially what glasses do is lock the eyes into their refractive state and in order to see through your lenses you have to maintain the poor vision that the lenses are designed to correct.
"Restore my vision” program you'll be taken by the hand, it shows you how to improve your vision naturally, permanent and complete solution.
Even the American Optometric Association has been forced to admit these things!
I'm sure that you will not regret your decision

At dark, in your house, take a bowl of water and salt. Sit with legs folded and palms facing up. look into the bowl and sing sad songs. Any! What hurts the most, Because of you, a titanic song, any thing! Sing ether the chorus or full song, 3 per day. This takes patience, so after singing the three songs, wait for 10 minutes. Ghost might appear. If not, they had no affection to your songs or they simply are not in the lonely building. If you sing more than one song, your sixth sense will forever leave unless the lesson is learned.
