You should probably go on crutches until you can get to the doctor because you don't know if you are doing more damage by walking on it. I suggest getting an appointment ASAP with a doctor or knee specialist.

I would go without the crutches if possible. They hurt your armpits and are really hard to get right. I fell down my stairs the day after I busted up my knee the last time...because of crutches...I decided the pain wasn't as bad as those damned things. I would deal with the pain if you can.

I suggest going to see a doctor if the pain prolongs. Its your best bet...i think anyways. but for now i would use crutches even if they are a pain.

I would use the crutches. But talk to your doctor, they may be able to help, or give you some pain-killers.

Get a flat magnet and wrap around your knee.
Get it off the fridge and take a sock and wrap knee.
Should pull the pain out.
Try Ice bottles also.

Let's think about this. You say you can't walk on it. So what do you think? Why would you say "or should I walk on it" when you just said you CAN'T walk on it??
