First impression, If I can't see a good reason for it. I'd think she was miskept. Sometimes my clothes may be dirty. My socks, Never.
If she's got nice good looking clean clothes and new shoes with dirty socks. I'd figure she's got a screw loose.

The thing about white clothing items is that the only way to keep them perfectly clean is to never wear them. I'm not about to judge someone on their socks - she probably just stepped in a puddle or something.
