For the verizon texting plan that gives you 250 texts for 5$ a month, does receiving texts count as one of the 250 given texts? Also, is any picture/ video messaging included in this plan? If so, how much of each?

With my Verizon plan I have two options. Although it doesn't make sense, I can get 250 texts for $5 a month, or I can get 250 text/picutre messages for $5 a month (go figure!) Although I don't really do picture messaging, I chose the latter just in case I ever do... same price, same number of messages, no brainer!
So you need to check which option you have, and phone Verizon and explain if you do have the wrong one. They are very good and will back-date your plan if needed.
As for the other question, the 250 messages count for incoming AND outgoing messages, so yes receiving txts counts toward the 250.

Yes, both received and sent texts count towards your texts per month.

each time you send/receive you get charged for a text message with verizon...i dont know about the video messaging/picture....

i think u have to have the IN plan for the incoming messages to be free.
