set aside an hour, a day, to study each subject, like monday science, tuesday math,,,,, etc, if you have a certain test,,,, the next day, just switch it around and study that,,,,,,, study for 30 mins, then take a ten minute break, and study for the other 30,,,,,,, its only an hour and ten minutes,,,,,,,,, total,,, you can do that,,,,,, remind yourself that this is your job for now,,, and apply yourself to it like you would a paid job,,, by going to school, and doing study/homework,,,,,,, remind yourself you have weekends off,,,,,,,,,,and how much better of a job you will be able to get when your grown , if you have a good education,,,,,

This is something that is going to be different for everyone. I know a lot of people who make flash cards based on the information they will be tested on. You 'write to learn' by making them, and then you reinforce the information by testing yourself. I have a short attention span, so when I read books I always have a pencil to underline important ideas so that I can review the main points I find. Also, if I am having difficulty I will even read the passage aloud a few times to help me process the idea.
Also, have confidence in what you do know when you actually sit down to take the test. Before you start or even look at the test, take a deep breath, clear your mind, focus, and then begin.
Hope this helps a bit. Good luck.

You seem to have a problem with your concentration. Instead of trying to study in cram sessions, why not break it up in several 20 minute sessions. I used to do that when I was studying and it worked quite well. For example, I would make sure to take notes during class. I'd spend about 5 minutes when class was over reviewing the notes. At home, I'd spend 20 minutes studying the material, then go do something else. Before your meals, another 20 minutes studying. Before going to bed, another 20 minutes there. Before I'd go to class the next day, spend 20 minutes prior to class and study again. If you plan to spend a long time studying, your mind will rebel and you won't study at all, but if you plan to spend a short time studying, your mind might just let you learn something before you realize it. You just have to keep trying different things until something works for you. Good luck!
