It's all about ratings. I don't find him amusing, but apparently you and I are in the minority. I just don't get who he is. Where did they find him? Randy is OK, but Simon is an authority why?? And Paula Abdul...she's nice...but has anyone ever heard her sing? She wouldn't have made it to the first round of the show and she's judging talent?!

I think its refreshing to have someone like simon around who isnt politicaly correct and phony...hes honest even though it may cruel sometimes I pretty much agree with his comments on how bad some singers are...as for comments about how certain people look maybe wrong however some of those people are living in dreamland and look half crazy for the most part.

Yea I agree. He is right about most of the things he says though. You have to admit, the contestants this year were HORRIBLE, compared to the year before. I mean some were GREAT, but most, not so good. Now Randy is starting to kick it up a bit too. Some of the things that Randy says are super mean to the people, I feel bad for 'em

I hate him too along with the show in general, albeit for very different reasosns. The show never has any type of new artists, just ripoffs of all the pop stars. And I also can't the fact that it's about overnight success. The best musicians worked hard to get where they are.

I know. I can't believe that he told those kids that undoubtedly had something wrong with them that they were fat and looked like a bush baby. He also drank this week. I couldn't believe he had a hangover on an audition day. How rude!

Eww...I agree! He's such an egotistical jerk to everyone. He thinks he knows it all and is judge of the world. I'm surprised he hasn't been attacked somewhere! Have you heard how he treats his girlfriend? He treats her bad, too. He makes my stomach churn...

Well, some people lie to themselves and they need a reality check. So think, he is doing his job, he might be harsh but he is still doing his job.

Sometimes he should be beaten up. Sometimes no. Like if you come in dressed up in some bogus costume and he says no, he's got a good reason. But if says you look weird, give him a bloody nose for all I care.
