Of course! And they get their housing paid, too.

Of course they get paid -- it's the exception rather than the rule for clergy to be unpaid. Pastors have to support themselves (and very often a family as well), just like everyone else. Sometimes very small or underfunded churches can't afford to pay clergy, but that's unusual. I think a very few denominations may rely on unpaid clergy, but that's not generally the case. In the major denominations, there are usually minimum standards for how much a congregation has to pay the pastor and what fringe benefits (like health insurance and retirement) they are required to provide. Even if the pastor is part-time, most churches would pay them a part-time salary. After all, a laborer is worthy of his hire!

Most do. At least in America.

Although there is a Pastor herre in Orange County, CA. at Saddle Back Church who stopped taking a paycheck and also payed back everything the church had paid him in the past as he ended up having a book published that made him very very successful.

I forgot to mention, I taught bible for 2 years and was paid to do it.

Some do - and some don't, depending on the church.

In my old church, the pastor was supplied with a house and $10,000 a year, and we helped pay for additional costs.
(flowers, cards for elderly members, gas for his car for *visitings* etc)
It was done by passing the plate, or by donations from the parishoners.

Yes. It's a full time job. They get regular paychecks. And benefits. And in most cases they get a place of residence near the church.

Depends on the church. If you have what's called lay clergy, then no, they don't. But a lot of churches do pay their leaders.
