Bush: `I'm the decision-maker' on Iraq.
This guy doesn't give a hoot about anyone's opinion except his own. Over 3000 American soilders plus innocent Iraqi people died ever since Bush decided that Saddam was a bigger threat then Osama Bin Laden ( I don't know what is going on with that issue, but Bush surely hasn't given him that much attention). And now he is trying to send 21,500 more of our troops to Iraq? Why doesn't anyone do anything about his over the top actions? 2 out of 3 Americans are NOT satisfied with what he is doing right now, he has become the most unpopular president since Nixon, and I am asking you guys, do you think Bush is turning into a dictator who wants to do whatever he pleases and ignores everyone else's opinion?

As the U.S. Constitution states, the Congress has the right to declare war and end conflicts when it's necessary.

Yes he is acting like one, since this is a democracy and what the people want should be taken in consideration. He clearly doesn't care. I wish some one would be brave enough to call for his impeachment.

ought to you extremely go with some weak president who differences his perspectives and critiques, only because a boatload of random idiots (and through that I propose the liberals) imagine they're incorrect? I particular as hell would not. He would not act like a "dictator." only a fool ought to assert any such moronic component.

"wants to do whatever he pleases and ignores everyone else's opinion"
That attitude does not make you a dictator. What would you do differently and why?
People on here act as if they have all the facts about everything, yet I notice a real absence of legitimate titles and occupations which would qualify people as legitimate authorities to discuss the subject. I've seen what dictators do, and while I don't agree with everything the president does, he is far from the tyrannical maniacs that would establish absolute tyranny over this people, the majority of which are affirmed members of the other major political party.

LMAO!!!!! More stupidity afoot with that tired Lib mantra "Bush is a dictator"
He is finally showing his strength again by making decisions that are totally unpopular with the left. If you havent noticed, the lefties want to their feelings to be obeyed like dictators themselves. He is right to be strong for America, which is something bleeding heart Liberals havent the spine for.
In spite of what you leftists think, random telephone call polls from 1,002 people here and there do not make your wishes the majority.
Also, why do you people continually ignore the fact that Bill Clinton is directly responsible for OBL's freedom?

2 out of 3 Americans dont know their *** from a hole in the ground. Bush is being advised by many people that he has a
deep respect for their opinion. What do you have to offer ?
Congress wont do anything, even if they have the power, because they are afraid that Bush is right and if we pull out,
the world will be in worse shape and they will take the blame for
it for the next 30 years. We lost 1/2 million people in the civil
war, probably a million in WW-ll, 37,000 in Korea and 58,000
in Vietnam. If we turn and run again, what message does that
send to the rest of the world ? That we are just a bunch of paper
tigers and all they have to do is cause a ruckus and we will run.

He's been acting like a dictator since he first took office.
He officially became a dictator when he essentially eliminated the writ of habeas corpus for all Americans

many of us who are not satisfied with the way things are
being handled are NOT for unilateral withdrawal. we
realize that now the region has been destabilized, an
immediate withdrawal would result in many many more
deaths. i believe the extremists call it cleansing. the
killing would go on until no one remained alive in the
region who disagreed with whichever faction gained
control.
is bush acting like a dictator? maybe a petty one. i
would be more likely to call him a spoiled child. he wants
it his way and he wants it now.

The US blathers endlessly about "exporting democracy" when in fact they've destroyed over a dozen democracies.
Why should anyone be surprised that the wealthy in the US want to destroy their own democracy to enact a dictatorship for the rich and by the rich.
