I have heard of this thing called food stamps. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what they are, do you get them??? If anyone gets them, How do you use them?? How can you get them?? I have no clue and I am wondering. Someone please explain this to me. Maybe I am stupid or something, but I would like to know.

Just the people who are on Welfare, SSI gets food stamps. The government give these people who don't have jobs money to live off of. Food stamps are to get food only, they can't buy beer with them. I think today that most people has someting simular to a credit card now because people were selling them to others so they can buy beer. The working person who pays taxes are the ones that pay for their food stamps.
