No, the show has been on long enough for people to know that they have the chance of having something bad said to them. And you would think a lot of them would know that they cant sing.
So if you dont want the chance of being put down than dont do it. And if ya do get over it. Its not the end of the world. Find something your good at.

NO, i think the judges are just giving the contestents ,who are really bad, the reality. They don't want contestents making a fool out of themselves. And i believe Rosie is just sayin this to get attention. She first starts with donald trump and now American idol. next shes going to do greys anatomy then house then who know wut. i think she belongs in a rubber room.

when Rosie had her talk show.. she loved American Idol... and was always talking about it....

the comments were just as mean then...

she is just trying to get attention and ratings with her comments now....

I question the mentality of its viewers as well as the participants. But yeah, Rosie is right on this one.

depends, who are we making fun of? in the Seattle auditions for example, i have no problem making fun of people like "the hotness", but i draw the line at disabled people, like Johnathan what the production did on his case was disgusting.
