There isn't a filing deadline in voting.... it's either a yay or a nay and you're done.

There are filing deadlines on when bill drafts can be submitted to legislative counsel, etc....

It depends on what state you live in. Some states have same day Restoration and others are at least 30 days before the election is to take place.
