Yes. My daughter was in a car hit in the door she was sitting by. When I got to the accident scene she was already in the ambulance and strapped down on the board. It was the most frightened I've ever been. Everything was fine. Thank goodness. Hope I never have to ride again. They are true professionals who drive and take care of you!! Many many thanks to them all!!

I broke my leg while building the US District Courthouse in Manhattan - one of the US Marshals called 911 and a New York Fire Department ambulance came and took me to Beekman Downtown Hospital. That's the only time I was ever a passenger in an ambulance.

Yes, when my son was 4 he fell from a 5 ft structure and split his lip very bad. I never saw so much blood in my life. The ambulance was called and I rode in the back with him to the emergency room. The paramedics gave him a little stuffed winnie the poo. He is now 20 years old and can barely see the scar.

Oui. And it had flashing lights and everything. That was once when I passed out. The other time was when I was in labour with our firstborn and we lived on a canal boat. There was a full on storm with heavy rain and the ambulance that came to get me reversed part way over the edge of the canal. Luckily this was before I got in, but probably accounts for me crushing the paramedics metacarpals before we'd even left the towpath..Mad time that..

I have. My senior year in high school. I am a diabetic and I was so sick from a thing called Ketoasidosis that they had to ambulance me to the big hospital in St. Paul. I was in it hooked up to 3 IVs no joke.

yes. actually, i was in a car accident and i was put into the ambulance on a board with tape around my head and the board, so i wouldn't lift my head. bad memories. i am gonna go cry now.

Yes, but I was OK. It was state law though, since I was under 18 and in a car accident for them to take me to the hospital.
