I think of Roger Craig, the baseball player. When I was a kid, he pitched for the Dodgers and Mets. By today's standards, he would have been making a lot of money because he pitched a lot of innings each year. Later, of course, he became a manager. He represents a time in my life when I was a kid who loved the game and couldn't wait to open a pack of baseball cards.
