i want to build a computer that runs off of many seperate computers. i read an atical about this in a maghazine whare a guy took 1000 computers, linked them. and then set them up to process the information together as one computer. does anyone know of any software that i could use to do this.

Your best bet would be to get a os that supports clustering. As far as I know, there are some linux distros that support it. I did this once with 4 computers and Mandrake CLIC. It was more trouble than it was worth. This was several years ago though.
