None. The human eyes do not use mega-pixels, or resolution at all. Mega pixels are way of defining resolution when computers or data storage are used. The eyes work like lenses on cameras. Even lenses on digital camera's have no mega-pixels, only the CCD chip behind the lens uses pixels.

a megapixel is one million pixels. Pixel means 'picture element' which is a single point on a graphic image. This is a term that is used in relation to digital reproduction of images. Basically, a digital read-out has tiny points of different colored light which vary in color and intensity. The more pixels a display has, the smoother the image (more pixels in a given area means smaller, less discernable points). With fewer pixels, the image would be seen as choppy and would resemble a pointilism painting (a painting made of tiny colored dots that appears as a scene from a distance). however, eyes do not see in pixels. Eyes take in light through the pupil and it hits the retina on the back of the eye. The retina contains sensory neurons known as cones and rods. Rods detect light or dark and cones detect colors of light. The three types of cones are red, green and blue...the three primary colors of light. The number of cones/rods on the surface of the retina varies, but they detect light in such a way that sends a complete picture of what is being viewed to the brain (which is actually sent flipped horizontally and the brain flips it rightside up). Instead of pixels, the brain interprets the visual stimuli as a complete or continuous image rather than points.

What we 'see' is more than what the eye senses. Our eyes don't work like traditional cameras. In cameras, the point where the light falls directly constructs the final image. However, in us, the eyes are a 'part' of the entire 'experience' (what is called "Qualia") of vision. The brain plays a vital role in constructing the image. I highly recommend the book "Phantoms in the Brain" by Neuroscientist V.S.Ramachandran to get a glimpse of whatever little science knows about vision.
