Okay keep an open mind cause I'm very superstitious I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this superstition. Supposedly if you happen to look at the time and its like 11:11 or 12:12 or 1:11 you know, double the number than you are supposed to make a wish and your wish will come true. Every day for the past 2 weeks this has happened to me. EVERY DAY. Sometimes twice a day. And i have had it happened to me at 11:11 the most. anybody think this is weird. I dont look at the clock alot either. I just glance at it to check the time and its always like that. Any ideas? I do make the same wish too. oh! maybe just maybe it'll come true.

Well, I am a ver open-minded person. I might have heard something like that. I think that you should make a wish just to see if it comes true. If nothing happens, then that means that it doesn't really work. There are many things that we can't understand. It is just one of those things that are unexplainable.

Gosh, this is new. A clock fairy with a talent for numbers. But this can be more than superstition... It can be a fact! Try reading Carl Jung's work on synchronization. A woman, his client, went to his office and everytime she mentioned her father, a beetle (Paul, John, Ringo or George) would start beating against his window pane. EVERYTIME. So he associated her father with the bug. But one day she missed the session and still, the beetle came. Immediately Jung thought: the man died. And BINGO, that's what happened. So he started asking himself if the man died BECAUSE the beetle appeared or, instead, the beetle came BECAUSE the man died. After some days, he reasoned it was either the first neither the second. These events were synchronic. So, astrology or tarot could actually work! Next time you see the clock showing 11:11, please ask some common sense to the rulers of the world.

The 11:11 thing happens to me almost everyday... I won't look at the clock for hours and then as soon as I do it's 11:11. I always make a wish. I don't really believe in this stuff, but it can't hurt. I can use all the help I can get.

Yeah I've heard of that superstition, but alas it is just a superstition the chances of wishing something to come true and it actually does other than it to be 11:12 when it is11:11. You shouldn't rely on such things if you want something to happen YOU need to make it happen not a game of chance.

actually your question freaked me out a bit cause it's been happening to me for years now and oddly enough it is always 11 past the hour when i glance at the clock. It used to freak me out at first, I didn't know what it meant and it kinda scared me a bit, but now I'm just used to it. I've never heard that u should wish on it before cause I didn't know it was common. so thanks to u for asking that question....I'm gonna start makin some wishes.

I have heard of that one. It may be that our internal clock knows when it is almost that time so you look at the clock at that time.
I have also heard of the time 12:34 being a bad time and it can be a bad or good omen of things to come at that time later in your life.
