I completely agree with Erica....although i've never been to a showing in a theater. I've heard about them from friends who have gone. It's just one of those movies that is just so crazy that it's funny. It's fun to ad lib stuff in too like I've heard about them doing in the theaters. One sorta funny downside to watching it....I can never look at Tim Curry the same again. I always see Dr. Frankenfurter when I see him. HAHA! Some of the songs are also just too goofy & addicting.

"tttttttouch me, i wanna be diiiiirty!"
Believe it or not, a few years ago my dad had found out about me having that movie & I got a lecture for a couple hours about it. He considers it "satanic".....LOL how funny is that!?

Tim Curry is the main character. Something about him. I dunno but I've watched the Rocky Horror picture show time after time and I still like it to this very day! I think, for me, it has something to do with the singing. Me and some friends would sit and sing along and act out the parts. I remember we started watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show at 3 pm. 11 hours later, we were still watching it! 2 am! LOL :)

Ugh! No! Say it isn't so! What an poor concept! Rocky Horror turned right into a one time component. no one engaged on it would want to have anticipated it to get the recognition and following that it did. you in user-friendly words won't be able to PLAN that. contained in the early 80s Richard O'Brian honestly make a sequel to Rocky Horror noted as marvel treatment, and it suffered each and every of the topic matters I assume a remake to conflict through. you won't be able to devise a cult classic. you in user-friendly words won't be able to.

Audience "participation" it was a classic that just involved the audience as if they were in on the joke. Part of the act. Bringing a "virgin" to the show was a great deal of fun as they stuck out like a sore thumb and did not know what/when to act. It was unique for that period in history.

Although I am nowhere near the fanatics as some people are, the music is very appealing and the storyline is as campy as all get-out.
Also, the audience performances is something that should not be missed

first of all, the music. I usually can't stand musicals but this one is so out there you just can't help but love it. secondly, the originality. Where do you get stuff like that? Also the costumes were so insane and the whole concept of transvestites from outerspace. the actors REALLY get into their roles. plus the midnight showings are always fun.

I mosty like it because my brother does. There are some parts I can't stand watching because they just go against what makes me comfortable, but there are plenty of parts that make me laugh. And I do enjoy the music, especially the song about Eddie lol
