I hate the fact that its number one in the box office based soley on the fact it appeals to urban youth. It is the stupidest thing I have ever been forced to watch. And you got served it just as stupid of a concept. The movie is basically one big dance off. Very very very dumb concept. There is nothing about dancing that makes anybody "hard".

They're trying to copy "You Got Served"! I didn't like Stomp The Yard, but I did love You Got Served!
NO, I still think You Got Served is waaayyyyy better.
And no, it didn't barely make it into theaters. I bet you why it's okay in the office right now is becasue Chris Brown is in it.

lol......"STOMP THE YARD" is wayyyyyy better than "YOU GOT SERVED"....and the lead character in stomp the yard was also in you got served...he was the damn choreographer for that movie! i think that maybe you all should go see it FIRST before you trash it with opinions.....................................if it is sooo horrible, as some of you all think why is it number one at the box office?? hmmm?? "YOU GOT SERVED" barely made it to the theatres!

I thought it would be dumb but it has been receiving some good reviews and has been widely watched. So, I'll check it out.

You are obviously not familiar with Historically Black colleges and their sororities and fraternities or you would respect the movie and the message it was sending.
