I know it sounds stupid, but i mean out of the school vending machine. sometimes he will let me pick something out and buy something for himself. Does this mean he likes me...

Well, that sounds like something a friend would do. I'm guessing you're asking if it means as he likes you as MORE than a friend and I'm not sure where you got that idea.
I see a lot of kids asking the same thing here and if you want to know, ask the person! If you're not sure, then they probably don't like you as a friend and even if they did, they should be mature enough to tell you about it and not just hint around.

He may just be generous. Try switching it up sometime if he really is a friend:) Surprise him and buy the snacks for the both of you that day ... and then say "thanks for bein such a cool friend, today's on me" ... check out his response. He'll either say something or he wont' but you'll be able to see the expression on his face and know if somethings up. And if you have feelings for him ... TELL HIM!!! Don't ever be scared of a boy ... they're dumber than they look ... no offense men ... just tryin to help the young lady out here with some tips:) Good Luck girl! Go for it!!!

Well there's one way to find out for sure, you could ask him. Or if your too shy have another friend ask him for you. When I was in school we always bought snacks for each other, we were friends. Chances are he does like you, and he's probably to shy to tell you himself. If you don't like him that way try not to let him think you do, then it might hurt his feelings if he does happen to tell you he likes you and finds out you don't like him.
