For my friend's bachelorette party, we went to 80s prom...it was $140 a person, for dinner at Sangria restaurant (which was good) and the 80s prom, where you dress in your 80s duds and pretend you are at an actual prom...its a lot of fun. Then we got in free to a local bar (there are a few choices) and drank free for an hour. It was all on the same street (Weed St.) and easily accessible by taxi.
Enjoy our great city! There are tons of fun things to do here!

Definelty the Baton Club...I am actually planning a party in a few weeks and we are going there.
We didnt want any strippers either so my mom suggested the Baton. Men dressed as women...great show!!
There is also a fun restaurant called Cafe BaBaReBA...it is a spanish tapas restaurant that is fun and not too fancy and GREAT food!! FYI, tapas are tiny dishes...like appetizers...that you order and share with people....they bring out a few at a time!
You could "pre-order" your tapas or order on the side with you server so everyone doesnt take an hour to decide and enoy!!

Try going to Ed Debevic's where the staff is rude to the customers, ON PURPOSE. Or how about a night at Excalibur's night club?
Go to Navy Pier and have fun on a boat ride.
Listen to a free concert at Grant Park and check out the Petrillo Band shell.
Check out Millennium Park and take pix under the huge mirror bean.
Go up to the John Hancock observatory having all the girls dress in white ( just for attention...)
Sit under the Picasso statue and try to figure out what it really is...

Le passage is great for bachelorette parties. Right in the heart of the city not too far from Navy Pier. You can cab it or take the CTA. My friend had her's there. We called ahead and told them the occassion and they let us all in for free (so definately call ahead) otherwise its like a $20 cover per person.

Signature Lounge on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building.
The Signature lounge is a normal bar that is just really high off the ground. Awsome view of the city. The Signature Room is the Resturant part. I have been to the lounge and it is amazing. A bit pricey for drinks but just have one or two rounds here then head to cheaper places to get wasted.

Foundation Room at the House of Blues.
Great place to see and be seen. You will have to call in advance to see if you can get in however. Lot's of wealthy people and a few stars hang out here. Drinks not cheap but with rich guys running around it's not too hard for a lady to get free drinks.

Go to metromix.com to look for more places. The link for this is too an story called "Girls Night Out" and list some places to for ladies to go out.

I don;t know about Chicago, but for mine (in Philly) they chose a house to start/end/crash (no one wants a drunk driver). They rented a passanger band and found decorations to decorate the outside, including a huge home-made banner saying, "melissa's Slut Shuttle - from whore to bore in 7 days" - It was so funny. Then we just went to the bar and had a good time. The bought "bachelorette cards' that we playe din the bar & it was an awesome night. Reading this it just sounds ok, but we had a great time!

the baton club, female impersonators is a blast. or you could do this thing called 80's prom, that is really interactive. or you could try one of the spas like mario tricoci and see if they have like a pampering package for a bachelorette party.

80's prom is cool. Batton is also a lot of fun. If your looking for trendy club type place, check out the W hotel.
