I don't think there is a better site then Myspace to promote your music. You have access to millions and millions of people on there.

My space is a very good site to help promote your music. Facebook is also a good site, but if i were you then i would creat a free website and then make a project playlist account (www.projectplaylist.com) and put my own music on my playlist then post it on myspace. That way you don't have to pay for myspace's thing and you can but like 40 different songs on there.

I think it is a pretty good place to start. PureVolume seems more geared toward music directly, but with Myspcae being much more broad, I say Myspace is a great start.

Myspace is the best platform to promote your music.
Cheap copies like bebo and hi5 arent even worth looking at.

yes myspace is very good however there is another website that is excellent for indie bands called purevolume. The website is www.purevolume.com and its perfect to promote your music!

I think MySpace is great for that! I discovered that one of my high-school graduating classmates is in a band that way, and that he plays gigs all around the area.

You could possibly make your own website and try to spread the news about it on Myspace.....

ummmm there is a sight called www.absolutepunk.net and it is a really good site... and its totaly free just like myspace... but both of those together should be pretty good for u... and in the words of ac*dc "we roll tonight, to the guitar bite, and for those about to rock, we salute you..."
