For some reason when i type it in Yahoo, the page won't load?
I've tried contacting my doctor but it just seems lately he's too busy to wont to go into details - i went to see him Monday and he didn't even check for what i was there for...ugh
So anyway, i'm having some pretty sore issues and was wondering if anyone knows about internal heamorroids (sp?) and what can help to prevent the pain.
I'm not 100% sure this is my issue, i know i can't have a bowel movement without crying because the pain is absaloutly intense, i'm very very sore and i'm so sorry to be talking about this on here, but, the nurse doesn't relay my information proporly and my doctor is far to busy.
Can a urinary tract infection cause bowel problems?
Thank you so much in advance for mature replies ; I
and sorry for the tmi of this post.
I've tried enemas and suppositories aswell to no evail, just an extreme amount of pain. ???

If you have that much pain, and your doctor is "far too busy," get another doctor immediately! That much pain is not normal and could be a sign of a thrombosed hemmorhoid, a very serious condition. I had it right after delivery and had to have surgery two days after my baby was born. You could start to bleed uncontrollably because of the vast number of veins in that area. Enemas and suppositories will not cure this condition! You must seek help immediately! Go to the ER if you have to, please! Good luck - it's a horrible thing, I know!

First of all - get a new doctor. Get someone who will listen to your health concerns. Before you do this - call back to the office and explain that you were there the other day and would like a referral to a Gastroenterologist.
This is the person that can help you. They may need to do a colonoscopy to see what is going on inside you. The icky part is that they run a scope into your rectum and check you out (you will be unconscious during this). You will also have to drink a super industrial strength laxative that will clean you out so they can see clearly (without debris).
You probably do have hemorrhoids. But it could be something more serious. That is why you need to see a specialist - right away. I am not even going to suggest over the counter stuff because you need to be seen by a physician that can treat the problem and do so with sensitivity and professionalism.
Go to a specialist asap! (and feel better soon)

Have you tried Tucks pads or Preperation H pads? They help with the burning and itching. I don't think a UTI would cause bowel problems. I dont care how busy my doctor is, internal hemmoroids is not something that is comfortable and your doctor should listen to you when you have a problem and the nurse should too. I would go to another doctor because that could cause you to become constipated from not wanting to push it out, and then it will be a million times worse trying to have a bowel movement. The doctor should never ignore a concern about your health.

Because you posted this in pregnancy, I'm assuming you are pregnant. The best thing you can do is take colace"(stool softener) on a daily basis and try sticking tucks pads in your rectum area. Urinary tract infections would not be causing your bowel pain. Then you need to grab your doctor by the horns and insist he take a look

Well you'll definitely see blood. A few weeks after I had my son I was in such pain and I couldnt "go" for like 3 days. I was sweating and pratically in tears. I couldnt even go to the market. This is what I did.....I took a stool softener and drank lots of water ....then I inserted some Preperation H suppositories and within an hour or so I went. I know how you feel...you feel like glass is coming out of your butt...but there ARE things you can do to make you feel better.

I want to clarify I am not a doctor and you should see one as soon as possible, if your doctor is busy go to another or if your insurance covers it go to urgent care.
As far as I know hemorroids bleed and are very painful, you would have problems sitting, going to the bathroom, etc. I could be that, it could be cancer, I am not trying to scare you but you should go to the doctor TODAY. This shouldn't be taken lightly because you need to go everyday, what are you going to do stop eating until your doctor has time?. GO TODAY. And stop the enemas you might be hurting yourself even more and don't automedicate.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/b8FaE
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

- internal hemorrhoid is not painful, most of the time main symptom is bright red blood from rectum.
- external hemorrhoid can have sever pain, usually pain lasts for 48-72 hours.
- sever pain the way that you explained can be external hemorrhoid or: Fissure, abscess, herpes lesion,...and something more serious, or just passing hard stool.
- I would call my doc.again and try to explain , or go to ER.

keep on calling your dr. office.
i had hemmoroids after i had my son and what i experienced was anal itching and a bulge at my anus. i was given these medicated pads that was like baby wipes to wipe myself with. I was also told to sit in the bathtub with plain warm water.
edit: i just realized u asked about internal, mine was external. well for internal u would get a lot of itching.
