I've eaten a lot of ham/cheeseburgers. I just hope that I haven't had the best one yet. I'll keep looking however.

I love the Bacon Avocado Six Dollar Burger at Carl's Jr.

However, the best hamburger I ever had of all time was a place in Santa Ana, California that is now longer there. When I first moved to CA in 1990, I went to this place in Santa Ana called Billy's, which I think may have been a drive-in. It was near the courthouse in Santa Ana. The whole sandwich was about 6 inches thick, which included a huge charbroiled burger, grilled ham, a smoky barbecue sauce, onion rings, and a whole lot of other good stuff! I also got homemade onion rings and a vanilla Coke! I think it was the best burger ever! Unfortunately, as I said, the restaurant is still there but it now has a different owner and new name, and he could not reproduce the Billy Burger!

In-N-Out Double Double or Carl's Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger as fast food goes.

At Disney's California Adventure, at the Taste Pilots Grill, they sell a burger with bleu cheese and steak sauce on it (don't recall its name). Weird blend of flavors, but it works and the burger is great!

The best burger is from Schalers in Rochester, NY. Big, juicy on a hard roll with melted cheese oozing out and hot sauce to die for. Folks that hot sauce with meat, east coast, not Tabasco sauce!!!
