just another thought Science has balance does that mean that magic also has a balance like everything in this world or is it just evil?

It's funny how some people believe in demons but not angels.

Depends what you mean by magic. There are things which no one knows how it happens. Is that magic... or is it human ignorance. Is the way my mum makes pasta magic? Or is the whole fact that we human beings are living in this age... magic.

Oh btw... for anyone really but... don't mix 'magic' and 'god' it doesn't work.

No, I don't believe in phenomena that don't conform to scientific laws. That said, whether we know and understand all of the laws is quite a different matter. But by definition, no matter how weird it is, if it exists it isn't "supernatural".

I do think a lot of people innocently believe in "magic" because the whole world is mysterious to them. How does a TV work? How does a power plant work? You can say "oh, the TV screen glows because electrons are hitting phosphors," but to some people it just makes no sense. It might as well be magic to them.

I think from there, if the workings of the world truly are a big mystery to people, it may be a short jump from there to believing in other things that are inexplicable and mysterious and in some cases supernatural.

I'd like to believe in magic...but logically I know there is a trick to whatever illusion is being performed. For example..I really like to watch Criss Angel, but then I went fishing around on the internet and saw how he does some of his tricks. I guess I kind of spoiled the mystery and intrigue for myself.

Magic and miracles are too different things. Many believe in miracles, but not magic. Magic is a deception where miracles reveal truth of mystery.

Yes, I believe in both. What I mean I believe in Magic because it can deceive people our very eyes. Magicians are good at it. However, they are not God, what they perform only deceive what we believe, twist our mind to think it is supernatural power performed by vulnerable human

Magic with a "c" is just the sleight of hand that magicians do on stage. there isn't anything to believe or disbelieve. the magik (note the K) that witches do is different. it does work and does not involve tricks or gimmicks. It takes force of will and practice and patience to see results.

Yes, I believe in magic as a component in Satan worship practiced by Wiccans. Anyone who has studied the occult and the people that practice it knows that magic is very real, a manifestation of demonic power.

I don't believe in magic, but some books would just be boring without it.
But then again, there are some wierd coincidences that happen every so often....unexplainable mysteries...

Actually, yes -- seen too much of it happening to explain it any other way -- including how I met my 2nd husband, lost my 1st one, found my 2 houses, etc. Too much to explain -- but SOMETHING freaky is happening out here!
