I read up until you said you were 14, and I saw the bit about the 500k a year at the bottom. Kid, you are very young. NEVER assume that just because you get straight a's now, means that you will in later years. Anything could go wrong in your exams, whether it be in or out of your control. I was expecting you to be 18, about to go to college, but you're so much younger than that...if you're really sure that's what you want, then go for it by picking the right options for subjects later on in your education- but neurosurgery takes more than just wanting it for the money, which is what I fear you're doing. You should want to do it because you'd enjoy that job- so you -would- work your whole life, because you'd want to help people. I'd hate to know that if I had an operation on my brain, the surgeon was only doing it not because he gave a damn about saving lives, but just for the 500k a year (which I believe is grossly exaggerated). If you have to actually -ask-, on a website like this (of all the websites you could have posted this question on), whether you're cut out to be a neurosurgeon, and then tell us nothing really relevant about your character as a person, I seriously have my doubts.
