check your cables at rear of tower make sure they are secure. If they are your graphics card may have become dislodged and you will have to take side of tower off.then press all cards you see back into there slots.Failing that it may be a hardware problem and you will have to take it to your local computer shop.By the way turn power off before you open case and earth yourself by touching a radiator.

Your graphics card might be dead. Not all motherboards have onboard graphics. If all your cables are plugged in, and you get the test signal on the monitor ok then that could be it.
You get the test signal when you turn your monitor on, it says something like 'no signal, monitor ok'. If you no longer get that the monitor could need replacing. If you have something else to plug it into try that to see if it works.

Simple. Either the monitor is dead or your electrics are wrong. Why bother asking such a stupid question?
