What do you consider the best romance movies of all time? I would love some new ones to watch.
My favorites are The Notebook (of course), Gone with the Wind, Delta of Venus, 9 1/2 Weeks, and Killing me Softly.

Try Michael Landon Jr's "Love Comes Softly" series. I love the same movies as you. So we must have similar taste. If you've not seen this series, they are a MUST. I thought The Notebook was almost the best ever until these. The first (listed above) is followed by "Love's Enduring Promise," "Love's Long Journey," and "Love's Abiding Joy." They are wonderful tearjerkers!!! If you watch them, give me an e-mail and let me know what ya think.

Although this one never gets mentioned under the category of love stories I think far and above all others is the romance between Forrest and Jenny in "Forrest Gump." Granted Jenny was a s l u t most her life, but on the part of Forrest, his love and devotion to the love of his life never waned. And in the end he got the girl. Granted she was crawling with AIDS by that time, but Forrest didn't care. His love for Jenny may be the most perfect l love ever captured on film.

Edward Scissorhands is a beautiful tale about a man-made boy.
It's a little weird to people who don't get it though.
The Ghost and Mrs Muir is also a lovely tale. Katherine Hepburn was brilliant in that.
Pretty In Pink is an excellent modern reimagining of Cinderella. John Hughes is a great director.
Cabaret is an excellent quasi-musical (they only sing on stage) about a dancer and her relationship with two guys.
