I believe the place you are asking about is the Bermuda triangle. Not all aircraft and ships that enter the Bermuda triangle disappear. But there have been a few high profile cases.

your answer is the bermuda triangle. But what on earth was all that about after it, no conection at all with your question, but hey if your on another planet, who am i to judge.
