from the states, and gas is about $2 a gallon or 4 pounds a Litre... whatever the translation, how bad is it in Britain?

83.9p per litre for petrol and 86.9p per litre for diesel. That's what I paid in Bangor, Co Down, N Ireland yesterday.

In Toronto, Ont, Canada the lowest is $0.78/ L Cnd. 4 pound per liter? that's like $24.00 per gal?

Not so bad in ireland. its about 99.9 cent per litre here at the mo. although it was terrible over the last year.

In Laurel (near Baltimore) MD it is $2.10 for 87 octane.

regular gas is going for $2.46 on Long Island New York

I just paid 2.49 a gallon for regular in Southern California. (Riverside).

in australia it is between $1.10 to $1.30 a litre at the moment
