Hi,

A woman that smokes puts up to 10 years on her fertility clock - that means if you are 20 years old your fertility will be that of a 30 year old. - so quit as soon as possible.

Folic acid should be taken before and during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy - so if you are intending to start trying on May the 7th - you should be looking at taking Folic Acid around the beginning of Feb.

You should also be eating your 5 a day - you are what you eat - eat plenty of fruit and veg - the healthier you are the better for both you and baby.

Best of luck

Jo

Well, quiting smoking will definitely increase the odds that you will not miscarry. You should start taking prenatal vitamins now, it can't hurt.
Good Luck!

I am not sure how much smoking plays on infertility, but I can tell you that is the healthiest thing for you and your potential baby.
