Just wondering if anyone else enjoys wearing ballet slippers around the house as slippers. I find them very comfortable and have a few pairs...Red, White, Black.....
Anyone else or do you only wear them to dance class?

the soft soled one are very comfy, and when I was taking ballet in college, I used to just pull the feet portion of my tights off (i had one that could do that) and walk around with my ballet slippers on for shoes, great way to break them in. I love ballet flat shoes too... they are almost as comfy

The strap is always a useful thing to have. I would not recommend putting it under or cutting it off. The strap is there to support your foot, so the ballet slipper doesn't fall out. They didn't just put there for no reason. It is used to keep your foot snug in the shoe, so that while you are dancing it doesn't doesn't begin to slip off. It doesn't matter which shoe is right and left. You can start with whichever one you want. After you wear them for a few classes, you'll notice a gradual change. After a while, they will take the shape of your right and your left foot. If you put it on the wrong foot, you will be able to tell. So it doesn't matter what you start with, eventually your feet will shape the ballet slipper.

I only wear them for dance class or sometimes when I'm practicing at home otherwise I just wear socks. If I wore them as slippers around the house they'd probably get worn out quickly.

I only wear them to dance class. Sometimes on my way to dance class I keep my ballet slippers on and then put on my Uggs. you should try that!

um...sometimes when i practice at home i forget to take them off. but that's about it. how did u get red, white, and black ballet slippers?

i wear them to ballet. I personally do not think that they are very comfy!!! HA HA...:)

I almost never do that, although I do wear my tap shoes around my dorm. :D
