Hope that your modem is up and running. You are using an unsupported operating system. Should you ever decide to get a current OS check out UBUNTU Linux at ubuntu.org - it is FREE plus
you get all the programs you will ever need for FREE.

As soon as you connect your USB cable and turn your Modem on, Win98 should detect it automatically and attempt to instal it, if it needs your help it should ask you.
