I prefer both! But if I had to choose one or the other, I would say the Housewife. That is, if I was financially able to support it. I know also that Women become very bored at home everyday as well. I believe Children should be in an educated schooling program at the age of 2+ also though, which would give the housewife nothing to do at all. And of course if wy Wife is home, I know where I am going for lunch!! ; )

It depends on how much she wants to spend.
If she wants to spend more than I make, and not save anything for a rainy day, retirement, etc, then she better get a job.
If she is willing to cooperate on a budget and stick to it, and wants to stay home, then that is fine too.
Actually, it's the cooperation that I find sexy/appealing. Working together as a team, and not just keeping up with the Jones.
So it's the partner aspect that is most appealing. She can be a great partner by working at a paying job or working in the home, doesn't matter to me.

Lucky for me, I sort of have both. My wife works two 12-hour shifts on the weekend, and that's it -- she's home all week. I work all week and I'm off on the weekends. It works out great for there always being someone to take care of the kids. During the week, she does the housework and cooking, but on weekends, I prepare our meals and keep the house picked up. I think it's an ideal arrangement.

Well Sweetie it does not matter to me. Whatever would make the female more comfortable would be fine with me. My fiance currently works and she would like to continue for a couple of more years. We are both middle aged so there will be no little ones to care for. But if she wanted to stay home and do some art I would be supportive of this also.

housewife and mother is the goal.
Of course, I'm currently only dating, but, in the long run, housewife, mother. There's no other way.

I guess it depends. If housewife means she's going to be insecure and needy and starting trouble because she's bored all the time, then I opt for working wife:)

if she makes more than me...i WILL stay home w/ the kids. if i makes more than her and able to support the family, she can stay at home with the kids (if she is ok with it). but if she prefer to work...she can be both: housewife and a working wife.
i think in today society...u see all these kids growin up with no moral values, shooting in school, drugs, sex etc. guess who isn't home to teach them value when the kids are home from school...
