I guess 80s was a decade of classics, so if you ask me to pick one that would be difficult. These would be a few:
1. Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
2. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
3. Rocky (1982)
4. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983)
5. Superman (1983)
6. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
7. Rocky IV (1985)
8. Top Gun (1986)
9. Platoon (1986)
10. Aliens (1986)
11. The Untouchables (1987)
12. Lethal Weapon (1987)
13. Rain Man (1988)
14. Die Hard (1988)
15. Batman (1989)
16. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
17. Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)
And the best among them ... hmmm.. very tough... I guess....
Fiction: Star Wars
Horror: Aliens
Drama: Rocky
Adventure: Raiders of the lost Arc
Action: Top Gun/ Lethal Weapon/ Top Gun
Hope it helps.

i do not imagine it is the low intelligence of the action picture goer, i imagine it is the individuals on the studios wondering we've a low intelligence factor. Take television.....it is not any diverse there. Lame, lame, lame. If it weren't for books and my computer, i must be up a creek and not using a paddle, because i do no longer watch television except for the community information. ignore the nationwide information, yet it is yet another concern.
