Cry about the Iraq war all you want but the FACTS speak for themselves, since the war in Iraq or 9/11 for that matter there has not been another terror attack from radical Muslims on US soil.

We have stopped a number of attacks on US soil. By us being in Iraq has not helped stop terrorism in the US, better intel has stopped terrorism in the US, not the war in Iraq. If any thing we have created more people to take with the terrorist. We aren't fighting terrorist. Were fighting extremist in Iraq The real terrorist are very well thought out and plan for years who to attack us.

Right ON! That must drive the "Blame America First" crowd nuts!
There are still many American Citizens being killed in this country. Every DAY, in fact! It is just not the RADICAL Muslims
doing it? I see hundreds are killed in every major city, every year, drugs, gangs, drunk drivers, etc. and I would think those lives
need media attention also! We have been fighting the WAR on Drugs, almost as far back, as I can remember! They kill Americans also! Gangs protecting their drug turfs are killing
innocent Americans, drive by shootings etc.! It is estimated that we have over 500,000 people in US Prisons because of drugs!
A majority of crimes are committed to feed a drug habit!
But where does the news media spend their time and print!
I just wish, we could get BEEN HIDDEN, (Osama bin Laden) though! He is still the person who was responsible for that terrible 9/11 attack! and those 3000+ innocent people!
and all of the suffering and pain of the families of same!

Iraq has no connections with 9/11 so your conclusion is not correct. May be the reason is the invasion of Afghanistan not Iraq behind keeping US safe so far or perhaps the 9/11 is an American industry to justify the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Since you essentially asked the same question twice, I'll give the same answer.
I'll credit Bush for keeping us safe when Clinton bashers credit Clinton for keeping us safe for nearly 8 years.

First World Trade Center bombing: February, 1993
Number of attacks on US soil between that attack and January 20, 2001: Zero
Time span without an attack: 7 years, 11 months.

The***PRANOGRAPHER***Will now offer some words of wisdumb on this matter. Some think that it was our own govt. or parts of it that actually brought down the towers. If this were to turn out to be true, (I think it, is from evidence shown) then it would make sense why we haven't had one in five years. The government has done their part in putting this fear into the citizen cowards of this country, that yell out lowd,"We support the troops", but will not stand up for the freedoms, and rights these troops die for. They are to fearful of the govt that may label them as unpatriotic, or that it may be to inconveniant to stand up for their rights. If this is you , then you are a coward just like this draft dodging president teeny weenie GW bush. As long as we keep treating people like $hit they will keep throwing that $hit back at us.Why do you think we are so hated all over the world. Simple , we try to solve all our problems with guns and bombs that we drop on innocent women and children. Wars will never bring peace, only true justice for all will begat peace for all of US. All men are created equal, not just Americans. God D@m America. Go ahead report me . This is the only place you people have guts enough to speak out, because it is very easy just type a few keys. Try doing something real for your country. Read , learn, observe, think. Get off your fat judgemental @zz and do something besides repeating what other morons have put in your silly little brain. God d@m you, and thank you very little. The ***PRAYNOGRAPHER***

You have your facts wrong! There were terror attacks in Washington DC by radical Muslims. Look up John Lee Malvo and John Allen Muhammed if you can't remember back that far.

BTW, if you lived in DC, these were as terrifying as 9-11.

I could go on about Bush and national security but I won't. In short, next to nothing has been done to prevent or prepare for another 9-11, unless it involved millions of dollars going to government contractors or expanding the power of intelligence agencies. Our ports, trains, and borders are still completely unsecured, and Hurricane Katrina showed us that we are ill-prepared for real disaster. If you think Bush's policies helped anything, you are really stretching the facts.

What about the previous 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years before 9/11? Removing one leader in one country does not make you or me any safer then we were before. But you can think anything you want to justify the death of thousands of U.S. kids in a war which will never be victorious. Have fun sleeping at night.

We had a terrorist attack by al-Qaeda in 1993 that didn't do much damage.

We had a terrorist attack in 1995, except that attack was initiated by Americans.

We had a terrorist attack by al-Qaeda in 2001 that did a lot of damage.

If we haven't had a foreign terrorist attack by radical Muslims on US soil by 2009, then we're doing at least as well as we were before 9/11.

Theere are far more terrorists out there than there were--thanks to Bush--and because of that it is only a matter of time before more Americans die in terrorist attacks.

And I notice you don't seem to count the 3000 American troops that Bush has killed in Iraq--but then that doesn't bother the neocons. YOU certainly aren't going to put your life on the line--that's just for someone else to do while you sit at home safe and sound.

Just wait. There will be. How many terrorists do you think have crossed over from Mexico? Osama is just waiting for the right moment to strike. What will you say then? If Bush had any brains, he would have sent the troops into Afghanistan and captured bin Laden instead of sending them to Iraq for whatever.
