What was the very first record (showing my age) CD that you ever bought.

Mine was either

David Essex Gonna-Make You A Star
The Wombles Of Wimbledon Common

(Cannot remember which one because it was such a long time ago)

I bid on ebay once. My mom had a music book, many years old and worn, that she liked. So I looked for one like it. I got it for $20. I sent the money, got the book, the lady included a note that she was glad someone wanted it and she refunded $10. Good experience. I don't know how ppl dare bid on big stuff like cars though. I buy a lot online as I can't go shopping much. I'm satisfied with most, and if I'm not I return it. So far, I've been careful to buy from big established stores and returns have been fine. I keep a list in my documents of what I've bought, where , for how much, and when it should come. As my memory isn't to be trusted anymore.

The first record probably was a 45 single of either The Monkees or The Beatles. The first CD I bought was Dirty Work by The Rolling Stones.

My first tape was "Greatest Hits '93" containing such classics as... Mr. Wendal ,some WWF song and I can't remember what else.

My first CD was (and I'm kinda proud of this) Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic (their best album, in my humble opinion) and REM... erm.. the one with Shiny Happy People on it! Not such a fan of REM anymore though.

No idea how I remember this.. I even remember that I bought the CDs on Golden Disks on Grafton St. (Dublin) with some vouchers that my Aunt gave me!
