Go to a pharmacy and buy some RID. It is very good for lice removal.
If you are a man, I suggest cutting your hair at home with some electric shears, or you wife can do this or mother. Cutting the hair short will help you to comb out the dead lice.
If you are a woman, I suggest you cut your hair shorter, then do the same as the directions read. Get your hubby or mother to comb them out, after you apply the RID.
ONE box of RID is needed for each person in the home.
Chances are if you have it, everyone in your family home will have contracted it too. Expecially a bed partner.
If you have any other questions you may email me.
RID also works for other outer body paracites, such as Crabs.

The procedure for elimination has got to :
(a) loosen the bugs , and (b) eliminate the Head Lice.
Try shampooing in just a saturated solution of borax with 1% hydrogen peroxide solution. Apply tea tree oil plus lavender oil generously overnight. The eggs should die quite easily in presence of these penetrating oils as it goes right through the lice eggs. Usually if done well, one single application will do it. But here is the secret: you must remove laundry, hot wash them and bleached all pillows, bed spreads, clothes to prevent REINFECTION. If not sure then just spray a liquid solution of borax on the bed.

Pour rubbing alcohol on your hair, and let dry. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. Do that for 3 days in a row, and it will kill the lice, and their eggs. I discovered this treatment the last time my daughter had it, and it worked!!!! I went to Wal-Mart and bought 91% rubbing alcohol in a large bottle, and it was about $2. After your hair dries, you won't smell like the alcohol. Don't buy the over the counter treatments, they DON'T work, and they are very expensive.

There are excellent products at your local pharmacy that you need to get on immediately. Also, if you live with anyone they need treatment as well. Everyone in the house needs to go through the shampoo treatment. You also need to either boil or throw away your bedding and use some kind of treatment on the couch or chair you usually sit in. Believe me, it's a lot of work but it's the only way to kill the little beggars.

Evidently you have had this problem a long time. . .I would suggest going to a pharmacy or just a store and looking in the health aisles. Usually there is something there for that kind of problem. . .if you can't find it, I would suggest asking someone where you can medicine to help get rid of "it." There are different kinds of medicines, like a comb or lotion. Good luck!

I heard mayonaise will kill lice but you have to leave it on your hair overnight. Put a net or something over your head and wash it off the next A.M. Or at the drug store or Wal-Mart they have a stuff called RID it works too!
