Are facial peels worth the money, and do mild ones have terrible side effects> Most important do they work?

I had a series of them. Was very disappointed with the results, mild ones are worthless, a good exfoliator had the same effect for me. The center where I went would not administer a stronger peel, which I wanted, due to their fright of skin burn or other adverse effect (protecting themselves from lawsuits). Don't waste your money.

Hi there. I was considering a facial peel but did my research and tried something else. I started treatments for micro-dermabrasion 2 weeks ago and am so far very pleased with the results. I have 3 sessions for micro, and then laser. For the laser treatment (you can search solitone.com) and this is the exact same machine used for the laser treatments. The 4 different lights do anything from correct scars, even out skin tones and blemishes, acne scars, smooth skin out and even tighten skin reducing wrinkles and fine lines....It is absolutely amazing! The great thing is that you see results with just the first treatment. I swear by it and am very happy with my results. It is worth giving a shot....Hope this helps :o)

If you have scars from acne the facial peels diminish the scarring. Which is the case for me. I have been actively getting the peels once a month for three months now and I see a big difference in my skin tone. but the disadvantage is that you need to follow up with regular facials so that your pores don't continue to clog.

If you get a chemical peel, it will "work" as in giving you the results, and pretty quickly.
In the long run, though, they give you wrinkles and are not good for your skin.
I'd say don't waste your money. Get a regular facial with no chemicals and only natural products.
