I use this product called Static Guard to reduce the number of static electricity shocks I get. It seems to make things wet. How does it work?

It just puts a thin layer of anti-static film on the fabric/ object, reducing cling to the skin or fuzz balls clinging to other fabrics

well if you put a damp towel in your dryer say 15 min´s before the dryer stops it´s programme this will stop your clothes from being static
