what are the pros and cons to being famous?

I don't think I would want to be famous. There are pros and cons however which makes it a good and bad situation.

PROS
You have millions of dollars
You get tons of free stuff even though you can afford it
You live the good life

CONS
Constantly being stalked by paparazzi
Hardly ever have any privacy
Rumours are liable to be spread about you
Your family and friends get caught up in media reports & photos

Pro's-free stuff, money, clout, ability to travel,
Con's-No-privacy, hounded by press, constant criticism, being on the worst dressed list, pressure to only wear expensive clothes, second guessing my friends, etc.

No, I'd rather be wealthy without being famous, thank you very much. If that were an option.

Pros-you are reach,you're invited to important events,everybody knows you,you appear on magazine covers on TV and in films
Cons-you are followed every were by paparazzi,you can't have a private life,you're every move is watched by the press,the news papers write bad things about you,you can't do your shopping without being recognized
I wouldn't like to be a celebrity cause I like my life as it is now and I like to have a life of my own not a life in which everybody knows everything I do or a life in which every move is monitored.

Pros: Money, Cool friends, buying nice things, Going to cool places, popularity

Cons: paparazzi, stalkers, people bothering you, people criticizing you, True Hollywood Story, partying too hard
