Wow you must have been really upset when you typed this. I don't know everything however I can help shed some light with the things I have learned. Women tend to feel a lot more (except for men raised by women or a very strong woman) we think with our emotions. Men have a tendency to be more critical and think "logically". For the most part men are taught since toddling that the should conceal their emotion, therefore men think differently than women. Once that is understood and accepted you are able to put yourself in the others shoes and communicate a bit more clearly and have to ask less questions regarding behavior.

Men have been dominant all along in the world from stone age to until recently. Even though most men do not want to admit they all think they are superior to women. It is a psychological thing. They have always been the bread winner while women stayed t home, cooked, cleaned and took care of kids.
The world is going through drastic changes and deep down men do not like women taking the upper hand. When their partners earn more than them they feel depressed and dejected as they always want to be the superior ones.
Just for example, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe... she stared earning more than him - they split
Chad Lowe and Hillary Swank ... she earned more, they called it quits
It has been a world of men domination. when women take over their places, it just takes men far more time to adjust and get used to it.

Because men are instinctively more competitive, it's our nature to try and assert ourselves as superior to other men as well as women. Not to mention that, psychologically, a superior man is more healthy for his relationships with women as confidence and inner strength are attractor traits.
Also neither men nor women are capable of taking care of "everything" without the other... there are decided benefits and cons on both sides. Women are better communicators and much more able to keep people together as a group, men are better at math and navigation, and so on.

I believe that every woman needs a man by her side in order to feel complete. Men's important role in our lives is undeniable, and, honestly, I don't see the arrogance you're talking about in men. There are obviously things men do better than women and viceversa;)

They often try not too, beer and stuff like that.
Anyway, what you say about women is true I think.
Men just deal with the other side of things.
Ideally its equal, different but equal, thats why men and women mostly pair up and share a bed instead of killing each other.

Why do women think they have men all figured out? That should be the question you should ask yourself. Granted some men are hard headed, I would somewat agree with that, but then again there are plenty of hard headed women out there too, thus is the circle of life

I simply love your question. I have studied women and gender studies, and have learned how men think they are the king of the world, and give absolutely zero amount of freedom to women, it is mens nature...we wish they could realize that evrybody is equal, and very few actually realize. They do their own stuff, but when they find out a woman did it, they get angry. Its sad

Depends on the individual. There are many independent women. There are also women that couldn't tie their shoes without someone watching them do it. It goes both ways. Don't think that it's a one sided deal.

I partly think it's our fault. We as mom's raise our boys to be responsible for their actions. We want them to be independent and have the ability to handle problems. I'm certainly not speaking for ALL moms but SOME. I'm raising my son to be a true gentlemen. I don't fight with my ex or degrade him. I'm teaching my son to be understanding, gentle, and most importantly what is expected of him as he grows to be a godly man.
