I chose to manually sync with my Ipod in Itunes... I put about 850 songs into my Ipod about three hours ago, and everything was going fine. A little while ago I connected my Ipod back into Itunes and it said it had an update, so I updated my Ipod and after it was finished, ITunes said I wasn't synced with that library, so now my library is empty again. I'm guess this is because I chose to sync manually but I'm not sure. Also, ITunes is really irritating me because of it's ridiculous interface... It's difficult for new users to operate it efficiently. I'm wondering... Is there any way at all to take songs off of my ipod and put them back onto my computer? or how can I manage my Ipod without having to 'erase' everything to sync it with a particular ITunes library?

the songs that are on your ipod are already on your computer. just make sure your shared music folder is connected to your library.
