Has anyone tried trigger point injections?

Has anyone tried trigger point injections? I broke my back in 8 places a few years ago and have chronic pain and my pain clinic specialist has recommended "Trigger point injections". Has anyone tried these and if so what has your experience been?

Yes. I suffered from headaches a couple of years ago, and my family doctor tried this. It didn't relieve the headaches altogether - it was like dental freezing through the back of my neck. I found it quite bothersome as the freezing faded. It may work differently for you, so give it a go!
