This is sweet.
Yes, being a faithful gives you strength in the heart. It makes you know that deep inside you have more "soul" than they have. Their lives are empty and all what they think about is material things. You on the other hand don't care much about this life because you have the afterlife to think about. They may "appear" to be tough and strong, and you may appear to be fragile and vulnerable when the truth is you are filled with beautiful feelings of faith and belief and they are filled with nothing.
As for the second one. It's anger itself that controls you, not the person that makes you angry. It's ok to be angry you are only human, but it is not acceptable to let your anger make your decisions for you. Don't be mad at people because people are worthiless.
I think that you have to do this. Set a plan for yourself and decide your goals in life. And whenever you are met by one of those pitiful people, ask yourself , where does he or she fall within my own scheme of life ? Are they really that important ? Do they deserve a moment from me to think about them in any way ? "whether you hate them or love them" . Just keep your mind focused on your goal and don't let anybody hold you back. I am sure you will do great.

I like these 2 sayings. Regarding the first one, I think kneeling before God strengthens and humbles us. It gives us the strength to stand before anyone else. Regarding the 2nd one, I think people who anger us, know which buttons to push to control us. We shouldn't give them this chance. I learned to control my anger by letting go of the situation. I don't answer back, say anything until I'm completely calm and in control of myself. In anger, we could say things that we might regret and that gives these people the upper hand b/c they would have something to hold against us.

I agree with these sentences. If you kneel before God you are praising him and therfore he will help you stand before anyone.

The person who angers you is controling your emotions because you are angry at them..

God bless..x

Well, I'm iffy on the first but basically agreee with second. My question is this: what do you say of someone who is angered by God? (Not that I am; I'm just being, you know, playful)

Absolutely. The first one is self-explanatory. The second has to do with allowing someone to control your emotions. That is a personal choice.
