i think it looks dumb
but sometimes i find myself
to see someone who pulls it off nicely
so i guess it just depends.

We have to wear collard shirts or polos at our school for dress code, and most of us put tight fitting turtle necks, with spaghetti strap dresses, v-neck shirts etc. over our turtle necks. T-shirts might look a little odd, though.

It's a good idea to layer, but probably not that way. Try something over the dress instead and that could be cute. Or a cami under the dress too.
Layering is in but that may look dated if it looks how I (and others) are probably imaging.
