is it still possible to return it beacause the ipod has a 1 year warrenty and i bought it around november so is it still possible

enter your serial at the apple website and it will tell you how long you have left on your warranty the register it so they have your info.contact them about reapirs. they sent me the prepaid packageing for my ipod video and sent me a NEW one within the week

Did you pay by credit card? That may be a way to return it. You probablyh need to contact the manufacturer (Apple) but I would ask Target directly, as well.

Go to the apple web site. They will exchange it for you all you need is the serial number on the back of the ipod.

If it is physical damage then unfortunately you can't return it. but if it is not then go to target I am sure there is a way they can pull up your receipt.
