If possible, do both. I use my glasses in the evening at home, or when I'm tired. My contacts are used daily (unless I just don't feel like it!). When out at the farm, glasses can be nice because dust getting under a contact is a pain....literally.
Start w/ glasses.....when do you need them...all the time? or reading? Contact are easy to put in AFTER a few tries.
I like the versatility of having both. You will too. It is worth the expense in the long run.

They both have their pros and cons. Contacts are appealing for lets face it, usually superficial reasons. There is nothing wrong with wearing them, I've worn them myself. Contacts are better in the sense that you don't have to worry about breaking or scratching them, though they they can tear. I've found that I'm more comfortable physically in glasses. Contacts are hard to put in if you've never worn them before, they can also irritate your eyes as well if they get dry. God forbid something get in your eye when your wearing them, it hurts 10x worse then it normally does when you don't have any in. Also by the end of the day when you go to take them out, they may be kind of dry by then and they don't come out as easy. Then your eye gets irritated from all of the digging. Of course they have drops now to solve that problem but it can still tend to hurt a tad. But it's whatever you feel suits you. Luckily glasses are making a come back and are fashionable again :O)

Contacts, I have them and there awesome. The first time you put them in they are a little hard to put in and take out, but like on the 2nd or 3rd day. They are comfortable too, you can't even tell that they are in. Glasses I hate because sometimes they look weird and they always fell off my face or whatever! But I'd recommend contacts they are so awesome!

Considering the information you have given, a poorly written question deserves a poor answer. Get one of each, one contact for lets say the left eye, and a pair of glasses with a lens for the right eye only. A monocle for the right eye is the other possibility.

I would start with glasses first, see how you look and feel and then get a pair of contacts that are cheap, then decide!!!

I'm not sure for one i don't know who you are, how old you are, if you are responsible enough to keep up with them, make sure you do proper cleaning. etc. if you do decide to wear contacts ii would also recommend that you purchase a pair of glasses. just in the event that you have some irritation from colds, flu , allergy, sand in the eye.....

Honestly, both because there are times when glasses are appropriate and others when contacts are.

i have both, my personal is experience is that when your eyes get tired they tend to get really dry so you would need to have glasses to keep the contacts from being dry in your eyes. contacts are more convenient, cause glasses get dirty easily and
if you aren't use to them you can hit them whenever you touch your face. but having both can prove to be a better bet, you can rotate between the lenses and glasses from day to day. good luck

well, it depends on what your comfortable with. i hate glasses because i feel irritable and weird in them. i only use them at night. during the day i have contacts. they are easier to use and u dont have to worry about them breaking or losing them. then again, some people cant handle using contacts. so its up to u what u prefer.
