I have always been curious, why do some people drive certain cars? Mainly, the people that aren't interested in cars.....
I drive and customise a 2001 Silverado because I think they are awesome trucks. I daily drive a 1999 Chevy Prizm because it was given to me, and it's pretty good on gas mileage, about 36 mpg, which is great since I have a 50 mile one way commute.
Why did you buy the car you have?

Chevy Silverados are nice. My dad had one in the eighties and man did that thing purr! Anyway, we drive a black 2002 Envoy. It has leather seats that are heated and basically the whole nine. So we bought it because it looks sharp and also to haul our three kids around. It is possible to be parents and still have nice wheels!!

I drive a 2006 Ford Escape. I got an SUV because of the utility factor. I haul music equipment or fishing gear around from time to time and the space is sufficient. Besides, I like to sit a little higher than I would in a car. It is comfortable and has a good crash test ratings. I put about 300 miles on it every week, so the gas mileage was a factor. The engine has enough pep to keep me happy and the 6-disc, satellite-capable stereo with factory sub is decent enough.

I own a 2005 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 and a 2006 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 4x4. My daily driver at the moment is a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer. I work for a car dealership as a Finance Manager and get a free car and gas card so I drive whatever I feel like for a couple of weeks then switch to something new.

I like my F-150 alot, but I just don't need it. I have owned for 10 months and I have only got 2,800 miles on it. I bought it because I worked at a Ford dealership and got a screaming deal on it.

The Tahoe is nice as well and use it when I travel out of town. I bought it because I needed something that had plenty of room to haul stuff.

I drive 4x4's because you need them here in Montana!

Sweet truck, but as for your question, I drive a 1995 Toyota Camry, and for many reasons. 1 - it was given to me 2 - it has superior quality and I know that it will last 3 - it has plenty of room for whatever I'm trying to move 4 - (the most important) since I too mod cars, I am one in a million people with a modifed camry, and nothing is like the look on someone's face after they get beaten by a camry :)

I drive a Yellow 2005 Pontiac GTO. I got it because it was the only 400 hp car that looked great, went like hell, and was still afordable, insurable with a couple speeding tickets, and came in yellow. I've added a supercharger, 19" Niche rims, cold air intake and a few other mods and the car rocks! I don't understand people who say a car is just something to get from point a to point b.

I drive a 1998 chevy cavalier out of necessity. It was all I could afford at the time and good on gas. This last year I bought a 1989 Jeep Wrangler that my husband and I are rebuilding this winter that will be really cool in the spring.

My husband and I just bought a 2006 Chevy Impala because the it was the dealerships special for the month, and the perk was 39 miles per gallon. We both also have a long commute to work and we both like the "look" too.

i have a pt cruiser which was customized prior to purchase..and i fell in love with that "milk truck" as soon as i viewed it on the car lot! i needed to find a car or even a truck that would be able to hold all my crap from college when i returned home in the summer...and this car worked wonders because the back seats folded down and rolled right out! and i was able to pack alot more items in this car versus my previous car (a 96 grand prix, limited edition-white)

another reason i bought it was because of the CustomIzatioN! this lil cruiser came equipped with suede/leather seats...17 inch rims...chrome on the door panels, front bumper, and rear lights..also it has tint on all windows! it was the perfect color for me because it is midnight blue..so at night, when it is clean, it just sparkles!

as far as gas is concerned, it doesnt take as much gas as one might tend to think..i think i can put twenty in on monday..and not have to fill it back up until the next sunday...depending on where i go of course!

I have a 2003 Grand Am.
I drive it because at the time that is what I was wanting.

But have thought lately about trading it in for a G6 with turbo power. But still thinking on that.

2005 Toyota Solara with the TRD package and manual 6 speed. I drive it because I love it. They aren't real common, it is quick, sleek and gets pretty decent mileage.
