Write a list of pros and cons talk them through with your parents. Also write out a chart of money you are getting and money that is going out and also be willing to do jobs to earn money will prove to your parents you can afford it. You can tell them that it will not just be used as recreation but something to keep the mind working e.g. brain training.

If you have your own money which you cna spend on whatever you want then you should get one.

But remember it is a big purchase and something that you may tire of very quickly.

Remember that games can cost up to £40

Have a look on eBay as they are cheaper on there.

Maybe explain to your mum that you are going to buy one anyway and you'd appreciate her help so that you can get the best deal.

i attempted to ask my mum and dad for one, too, yet they pronounced no. I waited a pair of years and then asked lower back, and then they asked me why i wanted one. I needless to say pronounced why, and that i promised that i might take sturdy care of it and that i paid for it and that i've got been given it. you would be able to desire to attempt that. I additionally suggested that my pal had one and that i performed it and it became incredibly relaxing. and that i pronounced that in case you purchase me one, i'm going to be busy playing it and should not be bothering you.

well if you want to try and talk them into it you can always bring up games like Brain Age and hope they see the positive effect that games can have, you can even tell them they can choose which games you play and if i were you i'd ask them why they don't want me to have a DS and try and discuss what their reasons are and tell them your thoughts on it and hope
