I want to run for president, but I don't have any money.I'm a door to door scrapbook salesman and I am wondering what I can do to raise money. I don't want to do anything illegal to get the money if I have to. I really like people and think that I can be good friends with them sometimes. I probably won't wear a suit, I will have to change that law. I also won't have a first lady because I'm not even dating. Don't get me wrong, the chicks dig me. So, I want to be president. How do I get the money to run?

"I probably won't wear a suit, I will have to change that law."

What law? There's no law about wearing a suit while President. Learning what laws apply to a President would be a good first step.

Why a comma? You have two separate sentences. They should be separated by a period. The President needs good communication skills, so you should probably brush up on the English language.

Those are kind of minor issues. We've elected a few pretty ignorant Presidents in the past - or at least a few people who had no business being in politics. Herbert Hoover, a very good engineer responsible for resolving a major natural disaster (Mississippi River flooding in the 20's) comes to mind. He might have been a genius as an engineer, but he was one of the country's worst Presidents. Come to think of it, that trait isn't restricted to Americans, alone. One of the world's greatest mathematicians, Pierre LaPlace, did such a lousy job of handling French affairs in the New World that Napolean decided to sell the whole kit and kaboodle to the US as the Louisiana Purchase.

Probably the most important thing a Presidential candidate should know is the reason they're running. If you don't know what you want to accomplish as President, and can't communicate that to people clearly and concisely, then forget about getting any support, whether it be financial support or just moral support.

You have to be a millionaire before you can run for President in our country and anyone will give you money sorry. It's a weird Catch 22. It makes no sense that you basically don't have to need money before you can ask for money does it, but yet there it is.

Of course, Clinton started out poor, but yet was a millionaire by the time he was running for president. But at least he gives one hope that you don't have to be born wealthy at least (although 99% of our Congressmen and Senators are indeed millionaires or close)...
